We are providing a third way by redistributing the code without any unneeded extras.
How can you offer the products at such low prices?
All WordPress items such as plugins and themes are licensed under the General Public Licence (GPL).
This means that once we have purchased the item we are free to redistribute it if we choose to do so.
Your purchase to our site goes towards maintaining and buying a new product to 3rd party theme and plugin authors.
This form of crowd funding helps keep prices low and we can then pass this benefit on to you.
Our products don’t include premium support. That’s why we can offer up to 95% discounts on must-have commercial WordPress plugins.
Are these products genuine?
Yes, 100%. We have active subscriptions to all the authors of the products featured on our website.
We download from them and redistribute to you.
The downloads are not altered in any way.
Do you provide updates to the products?
Yes. As soon as we are notified of an update, we go and download it from the author and update it on our site.
We send regular emails advising when products have been updated so please be sure to provide an active email address when you sign up.

Do you provide support to the products?
No. If you require technical support regarding a plugin or theme then you will need to either purchase the product directly from the author (a link is provided) or you will need to hire a freelancer to take a look for you. Alternatively, you could ask around some of the helpful WordPress community forums.
Not offering support is the way in which we are able to offer the products at a discounted price.

An item I downloaded is asking for a registration code. What to do?
Ignore it. Developers include these so that the plugin or theme can update automatically or so that you can register for support or in some cases to import the premium templates (which is not needed by the majority of users). The item itself will work perfectly fine without anything being entered in the box. We would recommend updating your theme/plugins manually when updates become available on our site.
How many sites can I use the plugin or theme on?
As many as you like. The plugins and themes are GPL licensed so you can use them as often as you like on as many sites as you like.

Are there any restrictions on the number of downloads?
We have recently made changes to our downloads policy. Now downloads are limited as per our fair usage policy.
Can I request new products?
Yes, every user who is subscribed to our Premium membership can request 1 product per month on our product request page. Though the fulfillment of the product depends solely on the discretion of GPL Family and other factors like the license of the product (GPL or non-GPL – we will not entertain any non-GPL product requests), the price of the product, usage of the product on one license, etc.
Will my product stop working after my membership or 1 year period expires (in case of individual product purchase)?
No, you will be able to use the products even after the membership expires. Though the download and updates will not be available. But your existing installed plugin or theme will continue to work on your websites.
How can I hide license reminders or usage keys?
Consider hiding the license activation reminders through a plugin as Disable Admin Notices individually
Can I purchase a product with lifetime free updates?
Yes, you can purchase lifetime free updates for any of the products, but at a higher price. Please contact us for further details of the order.
Can I get a discount on products or subscriptions?
No, it’s already discounted.
We can also provide you with a personalized offer if you have written a review on the product you purchased on our website.
Do GPL Family Provide License Keys?
We can’t and won’t provide/lease/release/resell license keys. All the products offered on this website are licensed under the GNU GPL License. You do not need any license keys to use them in as many of the projects you need. These plugins and themes only require license keys to get automatic updates or support from their authors.
How long does it take to get an updated version of the product?
You can request an update of any purchased product. We guarantee to update it within 48 hours after the receipt of your request.
How to fix “style.css missing” error while uploading themes?
A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a “Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This is because the theme download package on ThemeForest includes additional files to the theme such as the documentation, license, etc.
To solve this simply unzip the theme package you downloaded from GPL Family and upload the themename.zip file which is included (with the file being the name of the theme).
